Public beta
M3U Editor is open for testing
Bring the IPTV playlist you already have and turn it into something you can actually manage: cleaned up, grouped, versioned, health-checked, and served on a private URL you control.
Getting in
- Create an account — sign up here.
-
Redeem the beta code. The form asks for two
things — both are here:
Open the redeem form with the provider filled in →Provider:
betaAccess code:PLAYLISTFORGE-BETA - Sign in with your IPTV credentials. This is the part to read before you start: M3U Editor doesn't host channels. It manages a playlist you already have, so you need an active account with a participating provider — a service that's been connected to M3U Editor. If your provider isn't listed on the credentials screen, the beta can't reach your playlist yet.
Adding your own IPTV server isn't supported yet — that's the next thing on the list, and it's what will open the beta to everyone.
What works today
- Import and parse your playlist, with full version history and diffs
- Cleanup suggestions — renames, grouping, duplicate and dead-channel detection
- Automatic health checks that quarantine dead channels and restore them when they come back
- EPG / XMLTV with "now playing", favourites and reminders
- Curated and smart playlists, exportable and importable as JSON
- Private URLs in M3U, JSON, XSPF or OPML, each with its own rate limit
- A read-only JSON API — see the docs
Not wired up yet
- Billing. Nothing charges you and no card is collected. New accounts start on a Pro trial so you can exercise the higher limits; when it lapses the account drops to the free tier and keeps working.
- Password reset email. Not yet configured, so the "forgot password" flow can't deliver. Pick a password you'll remember, or contact info@vuetv.io if you get locked out.
- Bring-your-own IPTV server. See above — provider must already be connected.
It's a beta
Things will be rough in places and behaviour may change between visits. If something breaks or a channel looks wrong, that's worth telling us about — info@vuetv.io. The activity log on your dashboard records what the app did to your playlist, which usually answers "why did that change?" faster than anything else.
